Free Verse Poem

Hot As Hell

I was in the bush,

All alone, nowhere to go,

As hot as hell as black as ash,

I have nothing, nothing it’s all gone,

I have seen death in the flames,

Burning up with smoke,

Those stupid people, what were they thinking,

All it was, it was destruction, it all was destroyed,

All those people that couldn’t breathe, all covered in soot,

Thank the lord for those fire-fighters,

With those big red trucks, with the flashing lights.

The Favour

There once was a football player

Who had to wear a thick layer

He got very cold

Because his clothes got sold

So he asked his coach for a favour

Metaphor Poem

My Dad is A Tiger

My dad is a tiger,

He is strong and fearless,

When he gets angry his roar is loud and deep,

At the end of the day he comes to stalk his prey,

through the fridge at the end of the day,

But he needs to be free.

Computer Nerds Turd

As Smart as a Computer

As smelly as a turd

As messed up as a nerd

As slow as a 1.2GHz processing pack

As hard as a bum wack

As heavy as a great sand sack
